Center AiR – 展示とトーク
東京藝術大学大学院で油画を専攻する村山心南さんが、約3週間鹿沼で滞在制作を行います。9月18日には展示設営を兼ねたオープンスタジオ、19日にはトークイベントを開催しますので、ぜひお越しください！
村山さんはバウハウスやロシア構成主義から影響を受け、日常にあるものの動きや軌道をモチーフに、幾何学と色彩を立体絵画や写真で探求するアーティストです。滞在中は鹿沼の木工についてのリサーチも予定。街中で見かけたら、気軽に声をかけてみてください。

村山心南｜ Cocona Murayama
1999 年埼玉県生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院（美術研究科絵画専攻油画） に在籍。主に木材による立体絵画作品や写真、ドローイングを中心に、身近にあるものをモチーフに、既存のフォルムと軌道や運動を基に生み出される幾何学図形の融合表現を行っている。また、色彩構成によって生まれる効果についても追及している。

Cocona Murayama, a Master’s student in oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, will be doing a residency in Kanuma for about three weeks. On September 18th there will be an open studio doubling as the exhibition setup, and on the 19th there will be a talk event, so please come by!
Cocona draws inspiration from Bauhaus and Russian Constructivism, exploring geometry and color through sculptural paintings and photography, with motifs drawn from the movement and trajectories of everyday objects. During her stay she also plans to research woodworking in Kanuma. If you happen to see her around town, feel free to say hello.
Cocona Murayama
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1999. Currently a Master’s student in Oil Painting at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Working primarily with sculptural paintings made of wood, as well as photography and drawing, she takes familiar everyday objects as her motif, creating fused geometric forms based on existing shapes, trajectories, and movement. She also explores the effects produced through her color compositions.
