エルサレムを拠点として活躍するダンサー/振付家のAnat Shamgarと、テル・アビブ出身で東京在住のサックス奏者/サウンド・アーティストのTom Soloveitzikによる2daysイベントを開催。1日目は2人のデュオ・パフォーマンス、2日目はギタリストの増渕顕史と打楽器奏者の松本一哉を迎え、鹿沼・黒川沿いでの即興パフォーマンスと全員参加型のワークショップを予定しています。
Jerusalem-based dancer/dance-maker/educator, Anat Shamgar and Tel Aviv-born, Tokyo-based saxophonist/sound artist Tom Soloveitzik will hold a 2-day event.
Day 1; Duo performance, Day 2; guitarist Takashi Masubuchi and percussionist Kazuya Matsumoto will be invited to give an improvisation performance with Anat and Tom, and an audience-participation workshop along the Kurokawa River in Kanuma.
ワークショップでは、Tomによる指揮の元、アメリカの作曲家・Dean Rosenthalによる国際的な実験音楽の作曲作品『Stones/Water/Time/Breath』を参加者全員で演奏します。この作品は参加者が任意の水辺で音楽を創り出すためにデザインされた一連の動作を行う実験音楽で、2012年の発表以来、世界各国で50回以上公演されています。
2019年には実験音楽のレーベル・Edition Wandelweiserからもリリースされており、演奏中に湧いてくる「上手く演奏したい」「高尚な実演をしよう」といった意図を捨て去ることを期待されているのが特徴。音楽的なバックグラウンドは不要で年齢制限もありませんが、演奏中に話してはいけないというルールがあるため、小学生以上の参加を推奨します。

During the workshop, all participants will perform “Stones/Water/Time/Breath,” an international experimental music composition by American composer Dean Rosenthal, under the direction of Tom Soloveitzik. The experimental music piece “Stones/Water/Time/Breath” has been performed more than 50 times around the world since its release in 2012, with participants performing a series of movements designed to create music in an arbitrary waterfront setting. Wandelweiser has also released this work, which is characterized by the expectation that participants will abandon any intentions of “playing well” or “giving a rarified performance” that may spring up during the performance. No musical background is required of participants and there is no age limit, but due to the rules against talking during the performance, elementary school age and older are recommended by Center.

イスラエルのエルサレムを拠点として活躍するダンサー・振付家。フランスのMontpellier Dance Festival、ドイツのPodevil Festival、アメリカのNew York Improvisation Festival、イスラエルのIsrael FestivalやRoom Dance Festivalなど世界各地のフェスティバルに参加。様々な分野で活躍する表現者とのコラボレーションを積極的におこなっている。エルサレムのthe Academy of Music and Danceで教鞭をとっている。
Anat Shamgar is an Israeli dance maker, dancer, improviser and collaborative artist. Based in Jerusalem, she has been collaborating with many artists (in Dance, Music and other mediums) in Israel, the USA and Germany. She has performed her work in Montpelier Dance Festival, Podevil Festival in Berlin, New York Improvisation Festival, the Israel Festival, Room Dance Festival along with many other events and venues. Anat is a Faculty member of the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem since 1991 and has been head of the Choreography Track and Movement Department. Her teaching curriculum includes improvisation, choreography, body work and multi-disciplinary courses.

Tom Sloveitzik トム・ソロヴェツィク
イスラエルのテル・アビブ出身、東京を拠点とするサックス奏者。音響の物質性、リスニングの実践、パフォーマンスや書くという行為をとおした記録の可能性を追及している。欧米やアジアの優れた音楽家たちと演奏をおこなう。イスラエルでは長年にわたり、Ensemble Musica NovaとHolon Scratch Orchestraの共同アート・ディレクターを務め、Musrara School of Artで教鞭をとってきた。
Tom Soloveitzik is an Israeli musician and artist based in Tokyo. He works with the materiality of sound, the practice of listening, and the potentiality of recording [a ‘field’] through performance and writing.

増渕顕史 Takashi Masubuchi
1984年生。主に東京で演奏活動を行う、アコースティックギター・ハーモニカ演奏家。
10代の頃より様々なロックグループでギタリストとして活動を行い、その後、ブルースを基調とした、よりミニマル・ドローン的性質を持つ音楽を志向し、実験と実践を繰り返す。 さらにその後、初期衝動の持続と音楽的探求のため、アコースティックギターを用いたソロでの即興演奏を開始。自身の身体知と情動に基づき、意図性を排したリニアかつ自然発生的演奏を行うが、自身と場に起こるイレギュラーもそれはそれとして楽しむ。特に音列と間の概念に関心を持つ。

Masabuchi has been playing guitar in a variety of groups since his teens. He began performing improvisation as a member of Pelktopia, his project with Hironobu Shimazawa (launched in 2008). Since 2018 he has been devoting himself to acoustic guitar performance. In that year he released two solo albums, R,R,R (CD, Headlights Recordings, Portugal) and Disappearing Foliage (cassette tape, Senri Records, Japan). He also releases collaborative albums with other musicians and contributes pieces to compilation recordings.

松本一哉 Kasuya Matsumoto
音楽家・サウンドアーティスト・ドラマー。
環境ごとにあるモノ・造形物・自然物・身体・装置など、本来楽器では無いモノも用いて多様な音表現を行う。自身で起こす音と場所毎に偶然に起こる環境音とが渾然一体となるように働きかけていき、日常の聴き慣れた事象に新たな切り口を与え、音に没入させる即興表現を追究している。

With the percussionist background, Matsumoto uses his experience through playing and listening to environmental sounds, using non instrumental objects such as found objects, nature, body and devices for various sound expressions.
He aims to break the boundaries between his output and the surrounding environmental sounds to explore deep listening improvisation expressions.
