カナダから”Black Bough Records”のオーナー＝マーク・モルナー（チェロ、エレクトロニクス）、オーストラリアからアンプリファイド管楽器デュオ”Sound of the Mountain”のクレイグ・ペダーセンを迎え、それぞれのソロ、田巻真寛とのトリオでライブを行います。

カナダ在住、バイオリン、チェロなどの弦楽器やエレクトロニクスを演奏する。Horseman, Pass By , 1/4 Tonne (w. Nick Keupfer and Eric Craven), Land of Kush, Black Seas Ensemble, and Kingdom Shoreなどに在籍。実験、現代音楽、ノイズのレーベルBlack Bough Recordsの設立者。クレイグ・ペダーセンとは、即興、実験的な作曲、アヴァン・ロック、フリー・ジャズなど、さまざまなジャンルで10年以上一緒に音楽を演奏している。

即興アンプリファイド管楽器デュオ＝Sound of the Mountainのメンバーであるクレイグは、最近モントリオールからオーストラリアのパースへ移住したトランペット奏者。近年はインデックス・カードに書かれたテキスト主体の作曲をする。自身のカルテットやEnsemble SuperMusiqueなどでも活躍している。中村としまる、秋山徹次など日本のインプロヴァイザーや、Manfred Werder、Pauline Oliverosなど共演多数。

田巻真寛
見たことのないイメージと新しい知覚の気づきを求め、主に映像とそれに関連した作品を制作する。抽象と具象、イメージと音の狭間を行き交う映像、フィルムの物質性を探求した作品などがある。近年は日常の光学現象を観察するビデオ作品の制作、ガラスやプリズムで光を操作するライブパフォーマンスも行っている。ロッテルダム国際映画祭、カナダのメディアシティ映画祭、クアラルンプール国際実験映画＆音楽祭など海外での上映とライブも続いている。音と映像の実験場「Sound Screening」主宰。副センター長。

Mark Molnar (cello) and Craig Pedersen (trumpet) have been playing music together for over 10 years, in a variety of configurations, from free improvisation, experimental composition, avant-rock, and free jazz.
Mark Molnar plays strings and electronics with Horseman, Pass By , 1/4 Tonne (w. Nick Keupfer and Eric Craven), Land of Kush, Black Seas Ensemble, and Kingdom Shore. He is the founder of Black Bough Records.
His music has been performed by Quasar4 (Mtl.), and the Thin Edge Music Collective (TO.), and he contributed string arrangements to Buried Inside, Alaskan, Black Seas, and Kee Avil.

Craig Pedersen is a composer and trumpet player living in Boorloo/Perth, Australia. Recent compositional output, largely in the form of text-based scores on index cards, embodies the dream of an ever-shifting body of work, flexible to the expressive needs of the present.
He performs in his own groups, The Craig Pedersen Quartet and Sound of the Mountain, and has been the trumpet player for Ensemble SuperMusique, a new music ensemble in Montreal dedicated to the performance of graphic and conceptual scores.
Since 2011, Craig has released a number of albums ranging between composed material to improvisation. An active and avid touring artist, he has played across Canada, in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and Mexico.
Recent highlights of his work includes collaborations and/or performances with Toshimaru Nakamura, Tetuzi Akiyama, Shinkan Tamaki, Zhao Cong, Yong Yandsen, Gudinni Cortina, Manfred Werder, Julian Galay, Pauline Oliveros, Jean Derome, Joane Hetu, Ian Birse and Laura Kavanaugh (Instant Places), Vicky Mettler, Bennett Bedoukian and Mark Molnar, as well as many many others.

Shinkan Tamaki
Artist in search of never-before-seen images and new perceptual experience. He makes mainly moving image and works related to it. There are works which cross between abstract and concrete, sound and image. In some film works, he focused on the materiality of film and applied it as sculpted objects.
Recently, He makes video works which we observe optical phenomena in our daily life. And he also shows live performance that he manipulate lights with glass and prism.
The works were screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam(The Netherlands), Media City Film Festival(Canada), Kuala Lumpur Experimental Film, Video & Music Festival(Malaysia), and so on. Organizer of experimental event series in sound and image “Sound Screening”. Vice director of Center.
